About

Our Story

We are living amid immense pressure from all directions—physical, emotional, social, environmental, and occupational. The challenges to human wellness in the 21st century are alarming. Loneliness and isolation have become defining features of modern life. Severe damage to the global environment and contaminants in our food chain are leading to the buildup of toxins in the body, contributing to both psychological and physical health issues.

Ayurveda offers a time-tested, holistic approach to these problems. By focusing on balance—within the body and with nature—it helps detoxify the system through personalized diets, herbal remedies, and cleansing therapies like Panchakarma. Ayurvedic practices such as meditation, Abhyanga (therapeutic oil massage), and Rasayana therapy restore emotional well-being, reduce stress, and strengthen the body’s resilience. It promotes a lifestyle that reconnects individuals with natural rhythms, helping to counteract the disconnection and toxicity of modern living.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is an ancient holistic healing system in the world originating around 5000 years ago in India. Ayurveda literally means the wisdom of life care. Ayurveda has a range of special treatments for several health conditions. Ayurveda’s unique
knowledge about the human body, specialised therapies and herbal remedies will help maintaining health, wellbeing and happiness for a quality life.

Doshas (humours)
Ayurveda starts from the principle of balance and connection, believing that treating
mind, body and spirit in harmony is pivotal to health and wellbeing, stabilising the
three major Doshas (humours) in the body: the Vata (arthritic substance), Pitta
(metabolic substance) and Kapha (mucus substance). Health is the outcome of the
balance of the three Doshas. The Doshas can become imbalanced by the food we
eat, our lifestyles, weather conditions and hereditary factors.

Ayurveda treatment is both preventative and curative requiring an experienced practitioner to bring harmony of mind and body through systematically developed
therapies and herbal solutions. This includes diagnosis and treatment around four key areas:

  • Lifestyle changes, the food we eat and our daily routines
  • Therapies, Abhyanga (Whole-body massage), Panchakarma (Detoxication)
    and Marmachikitsa (Marmatherapy)
  • Herbal Medicines, plant-based herbal solutions for a range of health issues
  • Mind and body therapies, an exclusive range of Dhyana (Meditation) systems.
